#Digital Memoir...Boon to Introverts

Our ancestors understand the value of relationships. In the above picture, you can see Taj Mahal which is a tomb built by Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan; in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is famous as symbol of love.

True love or real friend is very hard to find. If we are lucky, to get one, we would never ever think to leave them. In this world of increasing pressure to prove ourselves, people are getting  isolated and separated out.

Social isolation is trending and it is linked to more and more mental health issues. Many people are already aware of this, thanks to digital awareness campaigns.

For extroverts, as they can mingle in a crowd easily; it is just the case of following it; planning social gatherings like parties, outings with family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc. But for introverts, this is difficult, as they need a little extra time to mix with people offline, They normally socialize with people who they can relate to themselves. No two individuals are similar, so many of them live an unhappy life as they are hunting for someone they never get.

You all know Facebook and Instagram social media platforms made it easy to find and interact with people all over the world (excluding fraud profiles).

I feel, for introverts this may not help that much. They can make friends online, chat with them, and find some relief to come out of their boredom and loneliness; the real problem is these friends are temporary and they cannot be reached out in times of need. So, what if we provide a platform (Digital Memoir ) like Facebook and Instagram with all our offline connections such as classmates for students, colleagues for office going, and neighbors for homemakers, even though we did not develop a connection with them as compulsory procedure. If such platform has many options of randomly making group of people and offer some activity to socialize, with time, we never know the person who we have the impression is the biggest enemy of our life could turn out to be the most valuable friend, after spending some time with them and have a reason to communicate and understand their personality through interactions in group activities. Once the introvert finds confidence and believes he or she can relate to them, they can mix with them offline also as they stay nearby and these people turn out to be the most valuable friends which we would never ever think to leave in the future. Through this process introverts also may come out of their shell and learn to mix with people which may give a positive impact on their personality.

What do you think???
