"Mountains are Violet"
Mountains are Violet!!!
Look at the above drawing. Can you find any glitch. Oops..." Mountains are Violet." We assume this is drawn by a small kid and this little one doesn't understand the fact that mountains should be coloured "brown."
But do you really think that kids don't understand that mountains should be coloured brown. They watch cartoons and they can visualize this. They have good observatory and imitative skills. Still this kid chose to colour the mountain violet. Maybe she is fascinated towards that colour. To her eyes, filling mountain with violet colour made the artpiece "beautiful."
We normally never try to argue with such small kids because they never listen and we also let it go as its not a big deal.
I feel, in the same way, even people should be given liberty to choose whatever path is good for them. The society must stop criticism and targeting those individuals who doesn't follow the traditional path and live life on their own terms. If you don't accept their way of living, atleast you should not outcast them and make them feel lonely and miserable just because they are different.
What do you think???
Hi
ReplyDeleteIndeed very true, we are expected to move with the crowd since our childhood, though a person who stands with different personality and confidence draws attention ofcourse critically, but his perseverance and grit makes him or her stand very tall and become admirable
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. But parent's fear of the child's future restricts the parent from giving such independence. Parents should only guide but not discourage children working on their passion
ReplyDeleteVery true. Parents should be upto speed with the current trend and generation to be able to cope up with their interest and encourage them. Fear of society is always there. But we need to set our priorities right, that's when we will be able to understand our child's interest.
