Mama's Boy is Not Always a BAD Boy

Image
Mama's Boy is Not Always a BAD Boy As an engaged couple, my fiance  and I, are filled with joy, excitement, and anticipation these past few months. In fact, we want our wedding day look similar to a fairy tale wedding with prince-princess like feeling, a Royalty  touch, plenty of flowers, enchanted wedding themes, whimsical fairy lights, wood elements, and glass bulb decorations. Our imaginary fairy tale weeding theme As you all know, it is important for both the bride and groom to emotionally prepare for their BIG day because there is a feeling of unexplained butterflies in the stomach, nervousness, anxiety, and fear; so many feelings come together to make you feel a host of emotions. As most brides dream to make their wedding day the most memorable day in their lifetime, I too tried to give proper attention to the preparations before the wedding. My future mother-in-law takes over the entire wedding planning and preparations and my opinions were not considered. It was...

Use Your Brain To Shine...Not To Scam

Image
Pic by Delisha   Use Your Brain To Shine...                    Not To Scam Today, I came across an email stating that I received a refund from Income Tax Department. On first look, I had a nervous smile on my face and my eyes got widened like the one shown in the above cartoon drawn by my daughter. First of all, for me to get fooled, I am not an employee at present. Then also, for a moment, I thought the email was real and may be I was getting refund for some jobs I have done long time back. After checking with my uncle, it is confirmed that the said email is a fraud one. Fraud email I received some days back, which I tried to open today From this experience, I reco...

"We Connect " but with a "Difference"

Image
"We Connect" but with a "Difference "   Instagram is popular among netizens because it encourages visually appealing content. World is just a click away and people all over the world can make friends, understand each other, and feel the breeze of different locations only by sitting in their house through social media. We can imagine ourselves staying in different locations by just visualizing the photos shared by the people all over the world.   Instagram gives us a broad picture of our importance in the society. Many a times, we find out that our close buddies are not following us, instead we get following from all over the world and from people who we don’t have any relation, also who don’t even understand our language. We decide who our best friend in real life through this “unfollow” behavior. Real Life friend judged by reel life (follow/unfollow) Reel Life friend judged by reel life (follow/unfollow) Did you know, the most important news to broadcast ...

Guess, What You Can Do For Your Country?

Image
Guess, What You Can Do For Your Country? Nowadays, people leave their own country to settle in other countries. They emigrate for many reasons, including increasing one's employment or improving quality of life. But, they stay in touch with their family and friends from their home country through social media. They share the challenges they face in foreign countries like no maids, have to clean the outside premises of their house themselves etc. to their family and friends through social media. Many posts gets viral too. I believe, everyone face challenges in life no matter where they live. Only those who confront challenges can achieve success in life. In fact, people choose to migrate to other countries as a solution to the problems they face in their home country. People should stop cribbing about the negative things they face in life, instead start sharing positive things they see in their surroundings and help their home country prosper in such aspects.  We have seen ma...

Learner's Guide...Japanese Way

Image
Kuromi from Hello Kitty, art by my daughter Nysa     Learner's Guide.... Japanese Way We all are familiar that kids love cartoons. They get attracted to watch Hello Kitty, Doraemon, Shin chan etc. All these cartoon series are from Japan. This proves that Japanese have done a lot of research and understand children's personality very well. Recently, I read an article that a Japanese city is installing robots in classrooms, so that kids who are worried about attending school offline can tune in remotely. I feel, we should also follow this concept. Sometimes what happens if a kid misses school for any reason, following classes after a gap would be difficult. Nowadays, students watch Youtube videos to understand the chapters they missed when they were absent, but understanding one teacher's version will give better knowledge. Sometimes same formulae have different ways to approach. So, if such concept is introduced or every class is recorded and student given access to the reco...

#Digital Memoir...Boon to Introverts

Image
Our ancestors understand the value of relationships. In the above picture, you can see Taj Mahal which is a tomb built by Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan; in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is famous as symbol of love.  True love or real friend is very hard to find. If we are lucky, to get one, we would never ever think to leave them. In this world of increasing pressure to prove ourselves, people are getting  isolated and separated out. Social isolation is trending and it is linked to more and more mental health issues. Many people are already aware of this, thanks to digital awareness campaigns.   For extroverts, as they can mingle in a crowd easily; it is just the case of following it; planning social gatherings like parties, outings with family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc. But for introverts, this is difficult, as they need a little extra time to mix with people offline, They normally socialize with people who they can relate to themselves. ...

"I Find Happiness in Rainbows" Am I Wrong?

Image
Many children love 🌈s. They are fascinated to its vibrant colours; end up buying items with 🌈 theme such as their birthday dress, cups, jars, bottles, stationery items etc. This is 🌈 Doodle drawn by my daughter, Nysa But, LGBTQ community chose 🌈 flag as their symbol. Some people try to relate this and judge people otherwise just because they love 🌈s. Recently, I read about a teen who got expelled from a Christian School in USA after they saw her social media post wearing 🌈 sweater and cutting 🌈 cake. School authorities when questioned tried to prove their point that the girl was expelled after two years of continuous misconduct. She is Kayla Alford who got expelled from her school  I feel,  the school authorities took this drastic step only after viewing the social media post based on reports by several US news agencies. This is completely wrong and parents of teens all over the world should stand by the family and fight for her justice. Today, she is facing issu...

"Mountains are Violet"

Image
Mountains are Violet!!!             Look at the above drawing. Can you find any glitch. Oops..." Mountains are Violet." We assume this is drawn by a small kid and this little one doesn't understand the fact that mountains should be coloured "brown." But do you really think that kids don't understand that mountains should be coloured brown. They watch cartoons and they can visualize this. They have good observatory and imitative skills. Still this kid chose to colour the mountain violet. Maybe she is fascinated towards that colour. To her eyes, filling mountain with violet colour made the artpiece "beautiful." We normally never try to argue with such small kids because they never listen and we also let it go as its not a big deal. I feel, in the same way, even people should be given liberty to choose whatever path is good for them. The society must stop criticism and targeting those individuals who doesn't follow the traditional path and live ...

Can you relate to this Artpiece?

Image
Can you relate to this Artpiece? Today I was going through my little one's art collection. This Artpiece caught my eye. I started relating this to the turmoil  experienced by me long time back when I took the decision to leave my job to become full time mom. I am not good at multitasking. Like in the Artpiece, one side (task) is finished and perfect; other side is incomplete and imperfect. In the same way I felt I was not able to do justice to my job. All are not as lucky as me. Especially new moms who have financial difficulties and women who are ambitious, worry about their career growth. So, I feel future kids should be schooled in advance about this scenario. They should be given projects which requires multitasking skills such as planning, organizing, time management, leadership skills and last but not the least communication skills. Also boys should be taught about gender equality. What do you think???
